Cajun Dust Roasted Parsley Root Bites

For today's dish, we are marrying Cajun flavors with the earthy robustness of parsley root. The vibrant bites of Cajun spices, combined with the subtle sweet and herbal notes of parsley root, result in an appetizer that is truly marvelous expressions of unexpected culinary harmony.
Ingredients (for 2)
- Medium sized parsley root - 4 - scrubbed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- Cajun spice mix - 2 Tablespoons
- Extra virgin olive oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - A handful - chopped for garnishing
- Salt - 1 teaspoon or to taste
- Honey mustard sauce - For serving

Step 3 - 🍠🥄🌿Place the cleaned and cut parsley root pieces on the greased baking sheet. Drizzle them with olive oil, sprinkle with cajun spice and salt. Mix everything to ensure the roots are well coated.

Step 4 - 🔥🍳🍠Place the prepared baking sheet in the preheated oven. Roast the parsley roots for about 20-25 minutes, or until they turn tender and golden brown.

Step 5 - 🌬️🍲🌿Once ready, remove the parsley roots from the oven, let them cool slightly. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
