
NY Sunset Margarita

In honor of Margarita Day, we're concocting a special NY Sunset Margarita that's as visually stunning as it is flavorful. The secret to our twist on this tequila classic includes a splash of blood orange juice, giving it a vibrant sunset hueβperfectly reflecting the legendary New York City sunsets.
Ingredients (for 2)
- Fresh blood orange juice - 1 cup - chilled
- Tequila - 3/4 cup
- Grand marnier - 1/4 cup
- Lime juice - 1/2 cup - freshly squeezed
- Agave nectar - 1 tbsp
- Ice cubes - 2 cups
- Salt - 1 tbsp - for rim
- Blood orange slice - 2 - wheel cut for garnish

Step 1 - πΉππ§Get the hurricane glasses and rim their edges with a lime wedge then dip them in salt.

Step 2 - πΉππIn a blender, combine 3/4 cup tequila, 1 cup of chilled blood orange juice, 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice, 1/4 cup Grand Marnier, 1 tbsp agave nectar, and 2 cups of ice cubes. Blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy.

Historically, margarita is a classic Mexican cocktail, but our NY Sunset Margarita is a salute to the Big Apple. For a non-alcoholic version, simply substitute the tequila and Grand Marnier for an extra splash of orange and lime juice.
