This unconventional Chinese-inspired smoothie is a tantalizing blend of sweet and savory flavors with a touch of seasonal freshness. Our star ingredient, Shallot, surprisingly marries well with the natural sweetness of apple, pear, and cinnamon, creating a unique blend that you'll surely love.
Ingredients (for 2)
- Shallot - 2 - caramelized
- Sweet apple - 2 - peeled, cored, and chopped
- Ripe pear - 1 - peeled, cored, and chopped
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Almond milk - 1 1/2 cups
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
- Ice cube - 1 handful
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon - for caramelizing
- Salt - pinch
