Introducing a unique play on a smoothie, utilizing refreshing Mediterranean flavors and healthy celery. The key ingredients for this smoothie are celery, mint, and yogurt, traditionally used in Mediterranean cuisine, offering a vibrant and energizing refresher.
Ingredients (for 4)
- Stalks of celery - 4 - cleaned and chopped
 - Fresh mint leaves - 1/2 cup - loosely packed
 - Greek yogurt - 1 cup
 - Almond milk - 1/4 cup
 - Honey - 1 tablespoon
 - Ice cubes - 1/2 cup
 - Mint sprigs - - for garnish
 - Almonds - - finely chopped for garnish
 
Preparation
- 
                    Step 1 - π₯¬π₯π―Put the celery, mint leaves, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey into a blender.
 - 
                    Step 2 - πͺοΈBlend the ingredients until the mixture is completely smooth.
 - 
                    Step 3 - π§Add in the ice cubes and continue to blend until the mixture becomes slushy.
 - 
                    Step 4 - πΉπΏπ₯Pour the smoothie into 4 glasses. Garnish each with a sprig of mint and a sprinkle of chopped almonds. Serve immediately.
 
Additional
Switch almond milk with coconut milk for a different flavor. Add a banana or a handful of spinach to increase the nutritional value. Let the kids participate by cleaning the celery and picking the mint leaves.
