March is still a chilly month but with occasional days of pleasant warmth. The perfect weather for a refreshing yet satisfying dish for two. This Japanese-inspired recipe uses seasonal ingredients and packs a punch thanks to its flavorful marinade and crunchy topping.
Ingredients (for 2)
- Tuna steak - 2 (6oz each)
- Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
- Wakame seaweed - 1 cup
- Red onion - 1/4 - sliced
- Cucumber - 1/4 - sliced
- Pickled ginger - 1 tbsp
- Rice vinegar - 2 tbsp
- Ponzu sauce - 2 tbsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Preparation

Step 1 - ๐งป๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ถ๏ธUse paper towels to dry the tuna steaks and season them with salt and black pepper
