Preparation
-
Step 1 - 🍵🧈🍬In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Then, add marshmallows and continue stirring until they are completely melted.
-
Step 2 - 🥣🥄🍚Once the marshmallows have melted, stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until it is well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
-
Step 3 - 🍱🧈🥘Using butter or cooking spray, entirely coat the pan. Then, press the sticky cereal-marshmallow mix onto the pan to make a flat layer.
-
Step 4 - 🌬️🍚🔪Let the 'rice' cool off comprehensively before cutting into sushi-sized pieces.
-
Step 5 - 🍣🍬🍓To make sushi rolls, wrap a fruit roll up around each Rice Krispies piece leaving some space on top for additional toppings.
-
Step 6 - 🍣🍬🥥Embellish each roll with Twizzlers, coconut flakes or moulds of Airheads candies to mimic various types of sushi toppings.
-
Step 7 - 🍽️🍬🍵Shape the pink Starbursts into thin, ginger-like strips and place them on each plate as garnish. Squeeze small amounts of green icing to simulate 'wasabi'.
-
Step 8 - 🍽️🍫🍣Serve the candy sushi with a side of liquid chocolate, to represent 'soy sauce'.
