This appetizer blends the tropical flair of Brazilian cuisine with the tart sweetness of fresh blackberries. Couched in the warmth of traditional farofa (a toast cassava flour mixture), the blackberries add an unexpected brightness that elevates this dish from staple to star.
Ingredients (for 2)
- Blackberries - 1 cup
- Cassava flour - 1 cup
- Unsalted butter - 3 tbsp
- Egg - 1
- Sugar - 1 tbsp - For the glaze
- Microgreens - for garnish
- Salt - to taste

Step 1 - 🍳🥣😋Melt the unsalted butter in a pan, then add the cassava flour and salt. Stir until the mixture turns golden brown and crumbly.
