- Trout fillet, boneless and skinless - 1 pound
- Lemons - 2 - zest, and juice
- Green chives - 2 tablespoons - finely chopped
- Red chili - 1 - deseeded and finely chopped
- Capers - 2 tablespoons
- Dark rye bread - 1 slice - cubed
- Olive oil - 100 ml - split
- Sea salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
