    In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup rice flour, 1/2 cup corn-starch, 1 cup ice cold soda water, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp white pepper to form a batter. Set aside for later use.

    Heat 2 cups Canola oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
