- Large shrimp - 1 pound - peeled and deveined
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon - Juice of 2 lemons
- Lemon - Zest of 1 lemon
- Fresh basil leaves - 1/4 cup - chopped
- Cloves garlic - 2 cloves - minced
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
