- Large carrots - 6 - peeled and cut into long, thin spears
- Cloves of garlic - 2 - minced
- Fresh ginger - 1 tablespoon - grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Toasted white sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
- Spring onion - 1 - chopped for garnish
- Salt - to taste

Step 1 - 🥕💧🔥Blanch the carrot spears in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Make sure to keep them crispy. Drain and rinse with cold water.
