
Artichoke Agave Whisper

This cocktail blends the subtle flavors of artichoke, a staple of spring cuisine, with exotic fusion elements. Along with it, zesty lemon and soothing honey will help to round out the delicate bouquet, with a hint of jalapeño to bring a surprising bite.
Ingredients (for 2)
- Artichoke hearts - 4 - steamed and cooled
- Large lemon - 1 - zested and juiced
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Jalapeño - 1 - thinly sliced
- Agave nectar - 2 tablespoons
- Gin - 4 ounces
- Club soda - to top up
- Ice - as required
Preparation

Step 1 - 🍋🌶️🍸In a shaker, muddle the steamed and cooled artichoke hearts together with the zest of 1 large lemon and 1 thinly sliced jalapeño.

Step 2 - 🍯🍮🍸Add the juice of the zested lemon, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 tablespoons of agave nectar to the shaker.

Step 3 - 🍸🍸🍸Pour in 4 ounces of gin to the shaker and shake everything well together.

Step 4 - 🧊🧊🍸Fill two glasses with as much ice as you like and strain the shaken cocktail mixture onto the ice in each glass.

Step 5 - 🍹🍃🍋Top each glass with enough club soda to fill, stir gently, and garnish with an artichoke leaf and a curl of lemon. Serve immediately and enjoy.
