In celebration of Sandwich Day, we're putting together a gourmet sandwich that's full of color, texture, and flavor. Aptly titled 'Autumn Glory', it reflects fall's wonderful array of produce and meats. This sandwich is a stunning combination of roasted turkey, crispy bacon, delicate Brie, and a homemade cranberry-apple chutney. The chutney subtly enhances the flavors of the meats and cheese, tying everything together for a perfect bite.

Additional

Fun fact: The first recorded sandwich was made by the famous Rabbi, Hillel the Elder, who lived during the 1st Century B.C. He started the Passover custom of sandwiching a mixture of chopped nuts, apples, spices, and wine between two matzohs to eat with bitter herbs. If you want to add some veggies to this sandwich, arugula or spinach would add a nice touch.
