Ingredients (for 2)
- Large beet - 1 - peeled and chopped
- Fresh basil leaves - 10 - extra for garnish
- Large lemon - juice of 1
- Greek yogurt or vegan yogurt alternative - 1 cup
- Honey or agave syrup - 2 tablespoons
- Crushed ice - 1 cup
- Water - as required
- Lemon slices - 2 - for garnish

Step 1 - πͺπ§π₯£Give the beet a quick boil until it is soft. Afterwards, chill it in the fridge.

Step 4 - πΏππΉPour the smoothie into two glasses, garnish with a sprig of basil and a slice of lemon, and serve immediately.
