- 1 onion — 1 — chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic — 4 Cloves — minced
- 1 red bell pepper — 1 — chopped
- Cajun seasoning — 1 Tbsp
- Smoked paprika — 1 Tsp
- Low-sodium chicken stock — 4 Cups
- Olive oil — 2 Tsps
- Salt — to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper — to taste
