In honor of Italian Cuisine Day, let us travel to the heart of Italy with a classic dish that perfectly embodies its rich culinary heritage - the Lasagna alla Bolognese. It's an indulgent, savory, deep-rooted, and hearty dish brimming with layers of pasta, creamy béchamel, and subtly tasty Bolognese sauce made from a blend of ground beef and pork. Infused with a hint of red wine, it's elevated to a new level of tastiness.

Preparation

  1. Step 1 - 🍲🌰🥩
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan. Sauté the onion, carrot, and minced garlic. Add the ground beef and pork, stirring until browned. Mix in the tomatoes, red wine, a pinch of salt and black pepper. Let it simmer for 2 hours.
  2. Step 2 - 🥛🧈🧀
