Preparation

  1. Step 1 - 🔥🌶️👨‍🍳
    Roast the Jalapeño over a gas flame or in the oven at 400°F for 10 minutes, until charred. Place the roasted Jalapeño in a plastic bag and seal it for 5 minutes. Then, remove the skin and finely chop.
  2. Step 2 - 🍹🧂🌪️
    In a blender, combine the diced mango, roasted Jalapeño, coconut milk, maple syrup, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Step 3 - ❄️🍡🕒
    Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, filling them 3/4 of the way. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Step 4 - 💦🧊🍡
    To remove the popsicles from the molds, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds.
  5. Step 5 - 🍡🍴😋
    Serve the popsicles immediately after removing them from the molds.

Additional

For a sweeter version, use agave or honey instead of maple syrup. You can also add a sprinkle of Tajín or chili powder on top for added spice. Kids can help by blending the ingredients together and pouring the mixture into the molds.
