Ingredients (for 4)
- Mussels - 2 pounds - cleaned and debearded
- Star anise - 4 whole units
- Turmeric powder - 2 teaspoons
- Tagliatelle pasta - 400g
- Pomegranate - 1 medium - seeded
- Parsley - a small bunch - freshly chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves - minced
- White wine - 1 cup
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - to taste

Step 1 - 🍳🥄🍲In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté 4 minced cloves of garlic until fragrant.

Step 2 - 🥘⭐🍷Add in 2 pounds of cleaned and debearded mussels, 4 whole units of star anise, 2 teaspoons of turmeric, and 1 cup of white wine to the pan. Cover and simmer until mussels open.

Step 3 - 🍝💦🍽️Meanwhile, cook 400g of tagliatelle in boiling salted water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

Step 4 - 🍝🔪🧂Discard any unopened mussels and remove the star anise. Toss the cooked tagliatelle in the mussel mixture, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
