- 2 nests of vermicelli noodles - 2 nests - soaked in warm water
- Soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
- Shaoxing wine - 1 tbsp.
- Red chili flakes - 1/2 tsp. - crushed
- Star anise - 4
- Sesame oil - 1 tsp.
- Peanut oil - 1 tbsp.
- Fine sea salt - 1 tsp.
- Black pepper - to taste - freshly cracked

Step 1 - ππ₯π₯In a large steaming pot, add water and bring to a boil. Arrange thinly sliced fennel at the bottom of a shallow, heat-safe dish.

Step 2 - π€π§πPlace the shrimp and scallops on top of the fennel. Season it with fine sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Add the soaked vermicelli noodles on top.

Step 3 - π₯‘πΆοΈπ·In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, crushed red chili flakes, star anise, sesame oil, and peanut oil. Pour this mixture evenly over the seafood and noodles.
