- Large shrimp - 20 - peeled and deveined
- Red pepper - 2 - thinly sliced
- Yellow pepper - 2 - thinly sliced
- Green pepper - 2 - thinly sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves - minced
- Cajun seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Cornmeal - 1 cup
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 4 cups
- Milk - 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup - grated
- Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup - chopped
- Fresh basil - 1/4 cup - chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
