Ingredients (for 2)
- Garlic cloves - 4 - minced
- Fresh mushrooms - 1 cup - sliced
- Extra firm tofu - 200 grams - cubed
- Medium onion - 1 - finely chopped
- Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable broth - 1 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon - dissolved in water
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onions - 2 - chopped
- Jasmine rice - 1 cup - cooked
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper - to taste

Step 1 - 🍳🧄🧅Begin by sautéing minced garlic and finely chopped onion in a pan with vegetable oil.

Step 5 - 🥣🥢🥘In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and vegetable broth. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker.

Step 6 - ⏲️🔥🍲Now set your slow cooker on low heat and let it do its magic for 4 to 5 hours.

Step 7 - 🥣🌊🍲Stir in the cornstarch solution (dissolved in water) to thicken the sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
