Experience an unconventional taste of Italy with our dish, Tuscan Seafood Cabbage Parcel. Ingredients (for 4)
- Large cabbage leaves - 4 - blanched
- Clams - 8 pieces - cleaned
- Shrimps - 8 pieces - shells removed
- Scallops - 8 pieces
- White wine - half a cup
- Garlic cloves - 4 - minced
- Cherry tomatoes - 8 pieces - halved
- Lemon - 1 slice per parcel
- Olive oil - 4 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley and basil - 1 tbsp each - chopped
Preparation

Step 1 - π₯¬π¦βοΈBlanch the cabbage leaves in boiling water until they turn vibrant green and flexible. Allow them to cool.

Step 2 - π³π₯π§Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and saute until it becomes fragrant.

Step 3 - π²π¦πAdd the cleaned clams, shelled shrimp and scallops into the pan. Stir them around until they start to get cooked.

Step 4 - π²π·π¨Pour the white wine into the pan, and let it simmer until the alcohol evaporates.

Step 5 - π ππ§Put in the halved cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper. Squeeze a slice of lemon into the mix.

Step 6 - πΏπͺ΄πWhen the tomatoes get slightly soft, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley and basil into the pan.

Step 7 - π₯¬π²π§ΊLay out the cool cabbage leaves and evenly distribute the cooked seafood mix among them. Fold each leaf to create a parcel.

Step 8 - π§΅π¦·π¦Secure each cabbage parcel using a toothpick or kitchen twine, if you have available.

If you're not a fan of one of the seafood ingredients, feel free to substitute it with your preferred one, such as calamari or lobster.
